Notice of Spring Clean-up and Free PAYT Week 2012, City of Frankfort

The Public Works Dept is sponsoring the first quarterly FREE pick up for the Pay As You Throw Program. This pick up will take place on March 19th through March 23rd. We are asking that all residents, civic groups, churches, and businesses take part in helping to clean up Frankfort by picking up litter along our streets and highways.

During the clean up week, residents may set out extra trash for collection from yards, garages, and basements. Extra garbage can be placed in 32 gallon trash cans or regular trash bags not exceeding 50lbs (overflow bags are not required).

Old household appliances will be picked up on your regular garbage collection day.

You may also bring your electronic waste (e-scrap) to the recycle facility on Rouse Ave for proper collection.

The City WILL NOT be able to pick up tires, petroleum products, or chemicals.
