new outdoor recreation venue open in South Frankfort

Dear SFNA,

I am please to announce that we have received approvals from Ky Div of  Water and the City of Frankfort for the operation of our Outdoor Private Recreation Center located at 111 Capital Ave, Frankfort, KY. 40601 (The Old Frankfort Lumber Property) next to the Capital Avenue Bridge.

We currently have a stage available for rental use, and will be installing a partial roof on our pavilion that will soon be available for rental use.

This adds a nice venue for community events, birthdays, family reunions, outdoor weddings, etc. The property is approximately 3.1 acres and we will have special rates for public community groups such as neighborhood associations.

Events have the option of using rest room facilities at Rebecca Ruth Candy or renting portapotties.

Thanks,
Charles Booe
