Happy upcoming 4th of July weekend! ‘

We hope that you can make it out on Monday, 7/4 in your patriotic attire and decorated transportation and join others in our annual parade down Paul Sawyer Drive. We will meet at the corner of Paul Sawyer and East 4th Street at 10 a.m. then walk along Paul Sawyer to the Dolly Graham Park. When we arrive at the park SFNA will have water (and a few sodas), ice cream and frozen treats, and this year we will be grilling hot dogs!

For those of you that are interested in helping plan the annual neighborhood picnic, please  attend the parade and ice cream social on Monday. Dolly Graham Park is one of our options the planning committee is considering holding the picnic at and we would like to review the logistics and receive your feedback.

Tuesday, July 12 – SFNA Executive Committee and Board meeting – I’m going to guess it will be at 7 p.m. at Tony’s house, an e-mail will be sent to the EC and Board members prior to the meeting to confirm.

Friday, July 15 – Movie at the Grand Theater

Thursday, July 21 – SFNA’s quarterly meeting. We will vote on our new officers and have a presentation. An agenda will be sent in another e-mail (probably after the July 12 EC/Board meeting) and we will also send you a list of the candidates for each office. We will accept nominations from the floor if the person being nominated agrees to serve in that position.
