SFNA quick update

On Tuesday, 7/19, the Frankfort sewer department is hosting a public meeting from 5-8 at the sower room of the Paul Sawyer library. The meeting will allow public input concerning the Frankfort Sewer long term control plan. The results of the LTCP will have a direct effect on the downtown and south Frankfort areas over the next 10 years. The public is invited to show up at anytime between 5-8.

On Thursday, 7/21, the SFNA will host its quarterly meeting at 7 p.m. at the South Frankfort Presbyterian Church on the corner of West Third and Steele Street. This meeting will be the “annual” meeting where dues are collected for the new year, officers are elected, and we will have two speakers for the evening. One speaker will be regarding the flight path over South Frankfort area going to and from the airport and the second speaker will be a representative from the city’s sewer department regarding drainage options for our community.

Also, if anyone has any pictures of the recent SFNA 4th of July parade and ice cream social event, then please e-mail them to us for our website and newsletter archives.

Be sure to bring one of your neighbors with you to the meeting on Thursday night.
