Senate Bill 148 and House Bill 541

SFNA says:

Please support HB 541 or SB 148. Kentucky is one of only two states in which the Capitol building is located in a residential area. The Frankfort Independent school system is hampered because 75% of property in the district is tax exempt due to use by state and local government. We need funding worthy of our Capitol.

Senate Bill 148 and House Bill 541

We are gaining even more momentum.  Please review the attached SB 148 and HB 541, the Fiscal Notes, and Talking Points. Furthermore, I have included who is on the A & R Committee in the Senate (below) and Education Committee in the House (below).  Please call, email, and visit with your legislators to ensure that we get the support needed to pass SB 148 and/or HB 541.  This will be a game changer for Frankfort Independent Schools.
