SFNA August 2014 e-newsletter

Dear friends,

I am honored that you have entrusted me with the  chairmanship of the South Frankfort Neighborhood Association. My vision for our neighborhood is that it retain its rightful place as the center of residential life in the Capital City.

I hope to continue the fine leadership provided by past chairs; and I will pursue our common interests with great energy and passion. With your help, we can create a vibrant place to live and raise our families. Many thanks!

Below is some information that the SFNA Board has discussed and are planning. We look forward to meeting you around the neighborhood and if you have any ideas or topics that you feel we need to consider, please respond to this e-mail.

An update from the KY Transportation Cabinet regarding Riverview Trail – Due to construction, a section of the River View Trail between Leestown Lane and the entrance to Buffalo Trace Distillery is currently closed to cyclists and pedestrians.  All portions of this paved path along Wilkinson Boulevard will be restored back to its original configuration before the project is complete.  Weather permitting, the contractor plans to have the path fully repaired by the end of September.
