I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season and are working diligently on all of our resolutions for the new year! Speaking of those resolutions – have you considered trying to find a way to become more involved in your community? If you have or are interested in the idea, then please join your SFNA Board at our January quarterly meeting on Thursday, 1/24 from 6-8 p.m. at the South Frankfort Presbyterian Church. We have invited many individuals and organizations from around Frankfort to be available for an informal networking meeting. We would like for you to come with your questions for your one on one session with others that work towards making Frankfort the great community that it is. The evening will be an opportunity to showcase our neighborhood and those we support throughout the year. Since this is during the dinner hour, the SFNA Board will provide beverages and paper products, but we are asking you to bring a light snack/finger food to share with others while we casually meander the Fellowship Hall at the church while meeting and greeting our neighbors.
In December’s e-mail we mentioned the idea of working with residents of the downtown Frankfort area to see about the interest in a neighborhood association being established on the other side of the river and our two groups being able to work together. Next week’s quarterly meeting would be a great opportunity to share some of the ideas that we work towards throughout the year. So please consider bringing a friend with you.
