SFNA news & info / 13 June 2011

Dear Neighbors,

We just have a few new dates and pieces of information that we wanted to pass along to you.  Plus a few reminders of neighborhood events.

Between now and August 31, Kentucky state parks will be recipients of a Plant a Tree program sponsored by Odwalla. Please go to www.odwalla.com/plantatree.  Once on this website, choose Kentucky and provide very basic information and the partnership will donate a tree to one of Kentucky’s state parks.  Odwalla is donating $100,000 worth of trees to be planted across the country through the program. Each state’s tree allotment is determined by where website visitors choose to plant trees. The trees will be used to support plantings at various Kentucky State Parks that experienced winter storm damage. The species of trees donated will vary by region and will be planted in fall 2011 and early 2012.

Previously we had announced there would be a planning meeting for the annual SFNA picnic tonight (Monday, 6/13) at the Dragon.
