3rd Annual Kings Center Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction – Sat July 11 2009

The 3rd Annual Kings Center Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction will be held beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, July 11, at the First United Methodist Church, 211 Washington Street, Frankfort.

Several local churches will be contributing and preparing food for the meal. Desserts will be provided by several local restaurants.

The speaker at the benefit dinner will be Mr. Colman Elridge, Special Assistant to Governor Beshear, who is the Director of Faith Based Initiatives and dropout prevention for the Beshear administration.

All proceeds of the dinner will benefit the Kings Center programs. The Kings Center is a faith based organization that has, since 1996, provided after school and summertime programming for at risk children of Frankfort. The Center’s emphasis is on educational programs, community outreach, and faith based programs. The Center relies on community support and donations.  Your support through attendance at the dinner or, if you cannot attend, your donations are vital to the Centers efforts.
