    treat!

Diane Dehoney, Community Service Librarian at Paul Sawyier Library,
and Mary Lynn Collins, Library Trustee, will discuss:

Declaration of Rights to Libraries.  This is an American Library
Association initiative being launched here in Ky by the Friends of
Kentucky Libraries.  The library and the local Friends of the Library
will co-host a Declaration Signing event at the library October 21
    from 5 to 7 pm.

  • Meet and Greet the Candidates.  This will be in conjunction with the
declaration signing event and also co-hosted by the Library and
    Friends.
  • How-To Festival.  The Library will host its first How-To Festival
October 4. Learn How to Do 30 Things in Three Hours.
  • Library Book Sale.  This starts Oct 15.  We have flyers in the
Friends bookstore on this giant Fall Book Sale.
  • Author Event.  Mary Jean Wall will join us to discuss her book Madam
Belle and will hold a book signing, Oct 23 at 6:30.  This book is
about Belle Brezing, Lexington’s famous madam, and said to be the
model for Belle Watling in Gone With the Wind.

events, all held at Paul Sawyier Public Library!
