SFNA November e-news

Dear Neighbors,

Thank you to those that came to our October Quarterly meeting, Joy Jeffries provided us with a wonderful update on all that is happening in terms of riverfront development. By the show of hands there have been many new things that we have all benefited from and a few things that we are awaiting to try out. Mike Radeke with the Kentucky Heritage Council provided information about an upcoming historic home tax credit workshop he is hosting in November. A flyer is attached and information has been added below in the dates of interest section. A more in-depth recap of the meeting will be made available prior to the January Quarterly Meeting.

The deadline for our scholarship applicants is quickly approaching! We have distributed the application packet to the Frankfort Independent School system and are requesting that all applications be returned by Friday, November 16. If you have or know of a student graduating from FIS between now and May 2013, then ask them to pick up a copy of the packet or print out the attachment. The scholarship was created in Randy Bacon’s memory and additional information about Randy is in the packet.
