Metro Louisville’s Historic Landmarks and Preservation Districts Commission with a grant from the Kentucky Heritage Council presents: Bob Yapp, “The House Doctor”

This event is free and open to the public. No advance registration is required.

Bob will be presenting three programs to help homeowners rehab their historic houses. Come for one or all of the programs.
9:00 am – 10:00 am “Paint It Right”
10:30 am – 11:30 am “Old Windows aren’t a Pane They’re a Goldmine”
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm “Additions that Work”

A A FREE Preservation Trade Show will be held from 10 am – 4 pm to put you in touch with local contractors, craftspeople, preservation professionals and architects that are skilled in repair and rehabilitation of historic buildings. It’s a great opportunity to get your questions answered one-on-one and gather information and resources about your preservation project, using the right materials, or finding trained professionals. Additional seminars will be presented in the on topics that include: Handling Lead Paint, Landscape Maintenance, and Windows.
