Jason Shaw Legacy Scholarship
Opportunity: Frankfort High School Seniors!
How to apply
To be eligible, applicants must:
– Be on track to graduate from Frankfort High School
– Come from a family with at least one parent, grandparent, or guadian who graduated from Frankfort High
– Have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
– And be a member of at least one extracurricular activity
Scholarship(s) may be used towards college, trade, or vocational school tuition. The scholarship award amount is $3000.
Scholarship applications are typically due May 1 of each school year. All applications must be submitted electronically through the SFNA’s scholarship portal beginning with the new year. Frankfort High School seniors should contact their school guidance counselor or academic coach for directions on accessing the application web site.
Because applicants may only submit their application one time (no corrections allowed), we strongly suggest applicants get a head start by downloading this document to view application materials. Assemble all your materials in electronic format before making a submission.
Remember that all materials must be submitted electronically through the SFNA Scholarship web portal to be considered. Contact your school guidance counselor for the web address or QR code.

Legacy Scholarship Fund
This scholarship fund is named in honor of Jason Shaw, a resident and pillar of the community, and the City of Frankfort, at large. Jason Shaw graduated from Frankfort High School and continued to exemplify Panther Pride throughout his life. He was known for his unwavering integrity, selflessness, and dedication to others. He coached the FHS Lady Panthers soccer team, served as South Frankfort Presbyterian Church Youth Minister, and extended many other small acts of kindness to any and everyone. This scholarship celebrates his enduring legacy by investing in future leaders who share his values.
